Really great songwriter with a crackerjack band, Ms. Edwards played songs from her recently released CD along with some of the outstanding cuts from her catalogue. Rocking singer/songwriter stuff presented by an engaging performer, backed up by yet another group of excellent and sympathetic musicians. Just another terrific show at an up close and personal venue (the Phoenix) that reminded me yet again why I like this genre of music so much, especially when it can be seen in an intimate environment.
Hopefully Ms. Edwards new CD will gain her the attention she deserves. Four CDs in and she’s got a great body of work.
